Herbed Rice Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 700 ml low-salt chicken broth
  • 1¼ 231 g uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon marjoram
  • ¼ cup (15 g) chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter
  • ½ cup (80 g) diced onion

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
  2. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours or until rice is fully cooked
  3. Yield: 6 servings
  4. Per serving: 137 g water; 169 calories (13% from fat, 9% from protein, 78% from carb)
