Ingredients
- 1½ pounds (680 g) pork loin roast
- 1 cup (235 ml) pineapple juice
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sherry
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) low-salt soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tbsp (13 g) sugar
Method
- Place pork in slow cooker
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over pork
- Cover and cook on low until done, but not dry, 4 to 5 hours
- Yield: 4 servings
- Per serving: 195 g water; 292 calories (24% from fat, 54% from protein, 21% from carb)
Serve with rice
