Ingredients
- 1 pound (455 g) extra-lean ground beef, browned
- 1 cup (160 g) thinly sliced onion
- 1 cup (150 g) diced green bell pepper
- 1 large tomato, peeled and diced
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
- 2 tsps curry powder
Method
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker and mix well
- Cover and cook on high 6 to 8 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 137 g water; 210 calories (57% from fat, 29% from protein, 15% from carb)
Serve over hot rice
