Gluten Free Chickpea Curry Indian Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serves: 4
  • 14 oz can chickpeas, drained
  • 3 cup sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 13 oz can cream
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in the pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Add onion mixture into the blender along with honey, spices, cream, and salt and blend until smooth.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and curry blend into the slow cooker and stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
