Easy Taco Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • garlic salt
  • oregano
  • cumin
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¾ cup water
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 romaine hearts
  • ½ yellow onion
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 can salsa
  • cilantro

Method

  1. Take out a skillet and let it heat up over the stove
  2. Once the skillet is warm you can add in the beef and onion and let them both cook for 10 minute so that the meat has time to brown up
  3. After the beef is browned you can add in the chili powder, cumin, salt, oregano, garlic salt, and water and let everything simmer for an additional 5 minutes
  4. Next you can take the romaine lettuce and wash it off before dividing it between two serving plates
  5. Top your lettuce with the meat mixture, black olives, salsa, avocado, and cilantro before serving
