- 3 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 pound turkey wings, boneless and chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small-sized red chili pepper, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon red curry paste
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, preferably homemade
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup turkey consomme
- kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Method
- Heat sesame oil in a saute pan.
- Add the turkey and cook until it is light brown about 7 minutes.
- Add garlic, chili pepper, turmeric powder, ginger powder, and curry paste and cook for 3 minutes longer.
- Add the milk, water, and consomme.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook for 45 minutes over medium heat.
