Custard-Based Rice Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 2/3 cup rice
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon soft butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 cup raisins
Method
- Cook rice according to package directions; drain it and rinse it with cold water.
- Combine milk, salt, sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs with rice; beat well.
- Add raisins; mix lightly with fork.
- Grease a baking dish and pour mixture in.
- Bake at 350 degrees until it is set and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
