Curried Chicken With Tomatoes Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can (28 ounces, or 785 g) no-salt-added diced tomatoes
- boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in half
- 1 cup (160 g) coarsely chopped onion
- ½ cup (75 g) chopped green bell pepper
- ½ cup (65 g) chopped carrots
- ½ cup (50 g) chopped celery
- 2 tbsps (12 g) curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tbsp (13 g) sugar
Method
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or on low 5 to 6 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 213 g water; 110 calories (9% from fat, 45% from protein, 46% from carb)
