Crock Pot Asian Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up
  • 2/3 cup organic free range chicken broth
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 onion powder pepper

Method

  1. In a crock pot, mix the sesame oil, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey and chicken broth
  2. Place the chicken in the crock pot and add seasoning to taste
  3. Cook on a low heat for 7 to 8 hours, or until meat can be shredded
  4. Serve hot with rice and vegetables or a salad
