Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut up
- 2/3 cup organic free range chicken broth
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
- 1/4 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 onion powder pepper
Method
- In a crock pot, mix the sesame oil, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey and chicken broth
- Place the chicken in the crock pot and add seasoning to taste
- Cook on a low heat for 7 to 8 hours, or until meat can be shredded
- Serve hot with rice and vegetables or a salad
