Creme Fraiche Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 1 CUP

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Method

  1. Whisk together the sour cream and heavy cream in a metal or glass bowl and cover loosely with plastic wrap
  2. Allow the mixture to ripen at room temperature for at least 12 hours, until the mixture has thickened
  3. Whisk the mixture, cover and refrigerate until using
