Ingredients
Serve with brown or wild rice
- ¼ cup (80 g) orange marmalade
- 1 pound (455 g) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 tsps (8 g) orange peel, grated
- 3/4 pound (1.3 kg) turkey breast
Method
- Combine marmalade, cranberries, and peel in a bowl
- Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker and pour half the orange-cranberry mixture over the turkey
- Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or on high 3½ to 4 hours until turkey juices run clear
- Add remaining half of orange-cranberry mixture for the last half hour of cooking
- Remove turkey to warm platter and allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing
- Serve with orange-cranberry sauce
- Yield: 9 servings
- Per serving: 145 g water; 272 calories (8% from fat, 53% from protein, 38% from carb)
