Ingredients
- 1 pound (900 g) extra-lean ground beef
- ½ cup (120 ml) egg substitute
- 2/3 cup (53 g) quick-cooking or rolled oats
- 2 tbsps (15 g) low-salt onion soup mix
- ½ cup (120 g) low-salt ketchup, divided
Method
- Combine ground beef, egg substitute, oats, soup mix, and all but 2 tablespoons (30 g) ketchup
- Shape into loaf and place in slow cooker
- Top with remaining 2 tablespoons (30 g) ketchup
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 2 to 4 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 96 g water; 318 calories (58% from fat, 31% from protein, 11% from carb)
