Chocolate Walnut Farfalle Recipe

Ingredients

Makes 4 servings

  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
  • 1/4 cup vegan semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 8 ounces farfalle
  • 3 tablespoons vegan margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Method

  1. In a food processor or blender, grind the walnuts and chocolate pieces until crumbly
  2. Do not overprocess
  3. Set aside
  4. In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the farfalle, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 8minutes
  5. Drain well and return to the pot
  6. Add the margarine and sugar and toss to combine and melt the margarine
  7. Transfer the noodle mixture to a serving bowl
  8. Add the nut and chocolate mixture and toss to combine
  9. Serve warm
