Cassava Cake Recipe

Ingredients

Batter

  • 1kl fresh grated cassava (4 cups)
  • 1 can 300 ml condensed milk
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 can 370ml Evaporated mlik
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter

Topping

  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup condensed milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • grated cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 350 F or 175 C
  2. Mix all the cassava ingredients.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine grated cassava, coconut milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk, melted butter, sugar and egg.
  4. Stir and mix well.
  5. Grease your baking pan and pour your mixture into it.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes to 60 minutes or until the batter tester comes out clean.
  7. To make the topping, mix coconut milk, condensed milk, egg yolks in a mixing bowl.
  8. Get the cassava from the oven.
  9. Then, pour the toppings over your baked cassava.
  10. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  11. Grill (broil) for 10 minutes.
