Breakfast Casserole 2 Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ pound (225 g) breakfast sausage
- 2 tablespoons (22 g) mustard
- 4 slices bread
- 1½ cups (355 ml) egg substitute
- 1½ cups (355 ml) skim milk
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded Cheddar cheese
Method
- Brown and crumble the sausage
- Drain remaining fat
- Spread mustard on one side of each of the bread slices and cut bread into cubes
- Beat egg substitute and milk together
- Spray inside of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray
- Layer bread, cheese, and sausage in slow cooker
- Pour milk and egg mixture over everything
- Cook on low 8 to 12 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 154 g water; 436 calories (49% from fat, 24% from protein, 27% from carb)
