Blueberry Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Servings : 4-6 dishes.
- 1 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 pinch of salt
Method
- In a medium bowl, mix the flours, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda and salt, as well as the ground flax seeds
- Pour the water into a blender and add the blueberries
- Pulse a few times until smooth
- Stir this mixture into the dry ingredients, together with the maple syrup
- Pour the batter into a greased medium-size cake pan
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 40-50 minutes
- Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar and a pinch of cinnamon
