Beef Paprikash Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (900 g) beef round steak, cubed
  • 1 cup (160 g) sliced onion
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup (120 g) low-salt ketchup
  • 2 tbsps (28 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsps (30 g) brown sugar
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard

Method

  1. Place beef in slow cooker
  2. Cover with onion
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours
  5. Yield: 8 servings
  6. Per serving: 110 g water; 185 calories (19% from fat, 58% from protein, 22% from carb)
  7. Serve over noodles
