Basic Italian Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 6
  • 1 Jar Ragu’ Italian Cooking Sauce
  • 4 Pounds Round Roast, Trimmed
  • 1 Clove Garlic – minced
  • 1 Medium Onion – sliced
  • salt And Pepper – to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil

Method

  1. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown on all sides in oil.
  3. Add onion and garlic; brown lightly.
  4. Pour off excess oil.
  5. Add jar Ragu sauce, Cover and simmer for 2 1/2 hours or until tender.
