Ingredients
- 1 pound (900 g) meatballs, basic or turkey
- 1 cup (240 g) low-salt ketchup
- ½ cup (115 g) brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup (80 g) chopped onion
Method
- Place frozen meatballs in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on high as you mix the remaining ingredients
- Pour ketchup mixture over meatballs
- Stir, cover, and continue cooking on high for 1 hour
- Stir, turn to low, and cook 6 to 9 hours
- Yield: 6 servings
- Per serving: 131 g water; 439 calories (41% from fat, 24% from protein, 35% from carb)
