Arizona Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 2 (4 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts

Method

  1. Preheat your oven at 400 degrees F and put some oil over the quiche dish before setting aside a mixture of salt, flour and baking powder
  2. Whisk eggs and flour mixture together thoroughly before adding Colby-Monterey Jack cheese, spinach, green chills, cottage cheese and melted butter into it
  3. Pour this mixture evenly into the quiche dishes
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes before turning the heat down to 350 Degrees F and baking for another 40 minutes or until the top of the quiche is golden brown in color
