Air Fryer Pita-Style Chips Recipe

Ingredients

SERVES 4.

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 ounce pork rinds, finely ground
  • 1/4 cup blanched finely ground almond flour
  • 1 large egg

Method

  1. Place mozzarella in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or until melted
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until a mostly smooth dough forms into a ball easily
  3. If dough is too hard, microwave for 15 seconds
  4. Roll dough out between two pieces of parchment into a large rectangle and then use a knife to cut triangle shaped chips
  5. Place the chips into the air fryer basket
  6. Adjust the temperature to 350°F and set the timer for 5 minutes
  7. Chips will be golden in color and firm when done
  8. As they cool, they will become even more firm
