Air Fryer Cream Cheese Danish Recipe
Ingredients
SERVES 6.
- 3/4 cup blanched finely ground almond flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 5 ounces full-fat cream cheese, divided
- 2 large egg yolks
- 3/4 cup powdered erythritol, divided
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
Method
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add almond flour, mozzarella, and 1 ounce cream cheese
- Mix and then microwave for 1 minute
- Stir and add egg yolks to the bowl
- Continue stirring until soft dough forms
- Add 1/2 cup erythritol to dough and 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Cut a piece of parchment to fit your air fryer basket
- Wet your hands with warm water and press out the dough into a 1/4-thick rectangle
- In a medium bowl, mix remaining cream cheese, erythritol, and vanilla
- Place this cream cheese mixture on the right half of the dough rectangle
- Fold over the left side of the dough and press to seal
- Place into the air fryer basket
- Adjust the temperature to 330°F and set the timer for 15 minutes
- After 7 minutes, flip over the Danish
- When the timer beeps, remove the Danish from parchment and allow to completely cool before cutting
