Air Fryer Classic Fried Green Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

SERVES 4.

  • 2 medium green tomatoes
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup blanched finely ground almond flour
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Slice tomatoes into 1/2-thick slices
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the egg
  3. In a large bowl, mix the almond flour and Parmesan
  4. Dip each tomato slice into the egg, then dredge in the almond flour mixture
  5. Place the slices into the air fryer basket
  6. Adjust the temperature to 400°F and set the timer for 7 minutes
  7. Flip the slices halfway through the cooking time
  8. Serve immediately
