Tuna Cheese Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 4
  • 1 can tuna – water packed
  • 1 tablespoon onion – minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese – shredded
  • 1 ounce parmesan cheese – grated

Method

  1. Drain and flake tuna.
  2. Combine tuna, onion, oregano, egg, and 2/3 cup of the tomato sauce.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Using a 10-inch pie plate, press mixture on bottom and half way up the sides.
  5. Spread remaining tomato sauce over the tuna mixture.
  6. Top with the cheeses.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. WW exchanges: 1/4 pie equals 2 3/4 proteins and 1 vegetable.
