Ingredients
- Serves: 6
- 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp ginger, crushed
- 1/2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 12 cups water
- 5 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 lb chicken
- 1 tbsp sea salt
Method
- Add all ingredients into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 12 hours.
- Remove chicken from slow cooker and using fork shred the chicken.
- Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir well.
- Season with pepper and salt.
- Serve and enjoy.
