Ingredients
- Serves: 6
- 4 large chicken thighs, skinless, boneless and cut into pieces
- 14 oz can coconut milk
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 15 green cardamom pods
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp tandoori masala
- 1 tsp curry paste
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
Method
- Heat butter and oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken, garlic, and onion to the pan and cook until onion softens.
- Stir in tomato paste, garam masala, tandoori masala, curry paste, and curry powder.
- Transfer chicken mixture into the slow cooker.
- Stir in yogurt, coconut milk, and cardamom pods.
- Season with salt.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Serve and enjoy.
