Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound turkey wings, boneless and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small-sized red chili pepper, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon red curry paste
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, preferably homemade
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup turkey consomme
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Heat sesame oil in a saute pan.
  2. Add the turkey and cook until it is light brown about 7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, chili pepper, turmeric powder, ginger powder, and curry paste and cook for 3 minutes longer.
  4. Add the milk, water, and consomme.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Cook for 45 minutes over medium heat.
