Turkey Meat Loaf Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds (680 g) ground turkey
  • 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
  • ½ cup (120 ml) egg substitute
  • 2/3 cup (53 g) quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tbsps (15 g) onion soup mix
  • ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 cup (240 g) low-salt ketchup, divided

Method

  1. Mix turkey and chopped onion thoroughly
  2. Combine with egg substitute, oats, dry soup mix, liquid smoke, mustard, and all but 2 tablespoons (30 g) of ketchup
  3. Shape into loaf and place in slow cooker sprayed with nonstick cooking spray
  4. Top meat loaf with remaining ketchup
  5. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 6 hours
  6. Yield: 8 servings
  7. Per serving: 107 g water; 221 calories (22% from fat, 52% from protein, 26% from carb)
