Ingredients
- 1½ pounds (680 g) ground turkey
- 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
- ½ cup (120 ml) egg substitute
- 2/3 cup (53 g) quick-cooking oats
- 2 tbsps (15 g) onion soup mix
- ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 cup (240 g) low-salt ketchup, divided
Method
- Mix turkey and chopped onion thoroughly
- Combine with egg substitute, oats, dry soup mix, liquid smoke, mustard, and all but 2 tablespoons (30 g) of ketchup
- Shape into loaf and place in slow cooker sprayed with nonstick cooking spray
- Top meat loaf with remaining ketchup
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 6 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 107 g water; 221 calories (22% from fat, 52% from protein, 26% from carb)
