Ingredients
- Serves: 4
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 3/4 cup frozen peas
- 1 bay leaf
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp garam masala
- 3/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tsp ground cumin
- 3/4 tsp ground coriander
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
- 4 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 3/4 cup can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 tsp kosher salt
Method
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion to the pan and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add ginger and garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add ground chicken and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer chicken mixture to the slow cooker along with remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Serve and enjoy.
