Szechuan Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

Serving Size : 4

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper – crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5 cups broccoli

Method

  1. Combine soy sauce, rice wine and sugar in bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat (medium) skillet, and add sesame seeds.
  3. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Remove seeds and set aside.
  5. Add oil, red pepper, ginger (crushed) and garlic (crushed) for 30 seconds.
  6. Add broccoli for 1 minute.
  7. Add soy mixture.
  8. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
