Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg – beaten
- 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup crushed pineapple – drained
Method
- Melt butter, blend in flour, add sugar, egg, mustard and vinegar.
- Beat with rotary beater or wire whip until blended.
- Stir in pineapple.
- Cook over low heat.
- Stirring constantly until thickened.
- Serve hot or cold with baked ham or broiled ham slices.
- Yield: 1 1/4 cups sauce.
