- 6 ounces pickled herring pieces, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons key lime juice, freshly squeezed
- sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Method
- In a salad bowl, combine the herring pieces with spinach, basil leaves, chives, garlic, bell pepper, and red onion.
