Subway Mayonnaise Recipe

Subway recently announced two new sauces. The new dips include a Baja Chipotle Sauce, made with chipotle and guajillo peppers, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, garlic, onion, and lime resulting in a smoky tang. On the creamier side, Subway has also released a tangy Peppercorn Ranch Sauce, with a light zesty taste.

Subway Mayonnaise Recipe

Ingredients

Servings

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt and more for taste
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Method

  1. Combine egg yolk, mustard and salt
  2. Now add half the oil in small portions while constantly whisking
  3. Once the oil is mixed in, begin whisking in lemon juice and vinegar
  4. Now pour in the remaining oil and whisk till well combined
  5. Once the mixture is smooth, add more salt and add pepper as well according to taste and mix
