Ingredients
- 1 tin of drained chickpeas
- 2tblsps olive oil
- 2tblsps lemon juice
- 1tsp brown sugar
- 2tsp ground cumin
- 2tsp ground coriander
- 1tsp garam masala
- black pepper.
- 1tsp cayenne pepper Salt to taste
Method
- Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C) Line a baking sheet with foil
- Mix the spices in a bowl until they are well combined and then spread onto the baking sheet
- Place the chickpeas on the spice mixture in a single layer and coat with spices
- Place in the oven for about 20-25 minutes turning from time to time
- The chickpeas will darken and reduce in size
- Allow the chickpeas to cool before serving and serve as a nibble with drinks
