Simple Quiche Lorraine Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 ounce) can bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 5 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3 ounces grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (9 inch pie) deep dish frozen pie crust
  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and put some oil over the quiche dish
  2. Pour mixture of eggs and half-and-half over the mixture of both cheeses, bacon and onion in the dish
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes and then an additional 35 minutes at 350 degrees F or until the top of the quiche is golden brown in color
