Shrimp Tacos With Bang Bang Sauce Seafood

Ingredients

Yield : 4 Servings

For the FISH TACOS/NUGGETS:

  • about 2 pounds of medium shrimp, shelled, tail on
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumb
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup flour

BANG BANG SAUCE:

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees
  2. Mix the parmesan and breadcrumbs in a bowl
  3. Add the eggs to another bowl and the flour in a third bowl
  4. Holding by the tail, bread the shrimp first in the flour, (shake off excess) then into the eggs and then into the breadcrumb/parmesan coating
  5. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  6. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and flip the nuggets over
  7. Return to the oven and cook another 7-8 minutes until the second side is brown
  8. While the shrimp are cooking, mix together the bang bang sauce and serve alongside for dipping
  9. Can be fried in medium hot oil until golden
  10. If eating in taco shells, remove tail
