Ingredients
- Serving Size : 8
- 1 can tuna in water – drained (12 1/2 oz)
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip or Miracle Whip Light
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 jar chopped pimiento – drained (2 oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/4 cups dry bread crumbs – divided
Method
- Oil
- Mix tuna, mustard, vegetables, pimiento, seasoning and 1/2 cup of the bread crumbs.
- Shape mixture into 15 (2″) balls.
- Roll in remaining 3/4 cup bread crumbs, coating well.
- Flatten balls into small patties.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Heat 1/2 cup oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tuna patties.
- Cook 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown, adding additional oil as needed.
- Remove from skillet; drain on paper towels.
