Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 C. milk
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper ( to taste)
- 1 (6 oz.) cans salmon, flaked and bones crushed
- 3 eggs, separated
Method
- Set your oven to 350 degrees F before doing anything else and grease a souffle dish
- In a small pan, melt the butter and stir in the milk, flour, salt and pepper until well combined
- Cook until the mixture becomes thick
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, add the egg yolks and beat slightly
- Remove from heat and stir in the salmon and egg yolks
- In a small bowl, add the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form
- Place the mixture into the prepared souffle dish evenly
- Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes
