Salmon Shepherds Pie Seafood Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 14 3/4-ounce can salmon
  • 1 10-ounce package frozen mixed vegetables — thawed
  • 3/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
  • paprika — as needed.

Method

  1. Drain and flake salmon, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid
  2. Toss flaked salmon with vegetables, dill weed, and reserved salmon liquid; place in a 1 quart gratin dish
  3. Spread mashed potatoes over the top
  4. Bake at 400ºF, 20 to 25 minutes, until heated through
  5. Sprinkle with paprika before serving
  6. Makes 3-4 servings
