Air Fryer Crispy Whole Roast Chicken

Ingredients

Yield : 4 servings

  • 1 Whole chicken, 3.5 – 4lbs.
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp sage
  • ½ tsp ground mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp basil
  • 1.5 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbs olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes
  2. Pat chicken dry with paper towels
  3. Mix all seasonings in a small bowl
  4. Coat chicken with olive oil and rub seasoning mix all over chicken
  5. Place chicken in air fryer breast side down, use air fry setting at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes
  6. Turn chicken breast side up and air fry at 350 for an additional 20 minutes
  7. Internal temp should be 165 degrees F with an instant read thermometer
  8. Let chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before serving
