Ingredients
- Serves: 10
- 3 cups red beans, cooked
- 1 cup black lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 tsp ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 3 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tbsp ginger, grated
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 cups water
- For serving:
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 tsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup cashew creamer
- salt
Method
- Add all ingredients except serving ingredients into the slow cooker and stir well.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Add all serving ingredients and stir well.
- Serve with rice and enjoy.
