Air Fryer Lemon Thyme Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

SERVES 6.

  • 1 (4-pound) chicken
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 medium lemon
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted

Method

  1. Rub chicken with thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and baking powder
  2. Slice lemon and place four slices on top of chicken, breast side up, and secure with toothpicks
  3. Place remaining slices inside of the chicken
  4. Place entire chicken into the air fryer basket, breast side down
  5. Adjust the temperature to 350°F and set the timer for 60 minutes
  6. After 30 minutes, flip chicken so breast side is up
  7. When done, internal temperature should be 165°F and the skin golden and crispy
  8. To serve, pour melted butter over entire chicken
