Real Apple Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups fresh apples – finely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon allspice
Method
- Combine eggs, butter and sugar.
- Add chopped apples and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Sift together all dry ingredients and add to apple mixture.
- Bake in tube pan at 360 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
