Ingredients
- Serving Size : 16
- 2 cups whole-wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cups dark seedless raisins
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In large bowl, with spoon, stir all ingredients and 2 tbsp hot water just until well combined; pour into loaf pan.
- Bake 50 minutes or until bread pulls away from sides of pan.
- Remove bread from pan and cool on wire rack.
