Poppyseed Tea Loaf Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 12
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease and flour 10″ Bundt pan.
  3. In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time.
  5. Add poppyseeds.
  6. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, alternately with sour cream.
  7. Add flavorings and turn into baking pan and bake 1 hour.
