Pomegranate Martini

Ingredients

• 1-ounce vodka
• ½ ounce Cointreau orange liqueur
• 3 ounces pomegranate juice
• juice of ½ lime
• 1 slice lime for garnish
• sugar to coat the martini glass rim, optional

Method

1. Dip the martini glass rim in water and then dip in a little sugar to coat the rim, if desired
2. Add vodka, Cointreau, pomegranate juice, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker that has been ¼ filled with ice
3. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass
4. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve
5. Makes 1 martini
