Ingredients
- 1 pound (455 g) extra-lean ground beef
- ½ cup (80 g) chopped onions
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup (245 g) low-salt spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
Method
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat
- Drain
- Add remaining ingredients to skillet and mix well
- Pour into slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 1 to 2 hours
- Yield: 4 servings
- Per serving: 146 g water; 419 calories (61% from fat, 28% from protein, 11% from carb)
