Pecan Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar – packed
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • pecan halves.
  • butter – melted.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar – packed
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  1. Bring dough to room temperature.
  2. Combine butter, sugar, and syrup; bring to a boil.
  3. Spoon 1 1/2 tsp sugar mixture into buttered muffin cups; add 2 or 3 pecan halves.
  4. Divide dough in half
  5. Roll each half into an 18×12 inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  6. Brush with butter.
  7. Sprinkle with combined sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Roll up; cut in 1″ slices.
  9. Place in muffin cups.
  10. Brush with butter.
  11. Cover; let dough rise in warm place until double.
  12. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Invert immediately.
  14. Makes 36 rolls.
