Ingredients
Servings : 2-4 dishes.
- 2 pears
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup coconut cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- In a heavy skillet, melt the brown sugar then stir in the pears, peeled and cut into slices
- Cook them for 5-10 minutes in the caramel, adding the lemon juice
- Remove from heat and set aside to cool
- In a bowl, combine the almond milk with the coconut cream and vanilla extract then pour into an ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions
- When almost done, mix in the caramelized pears
- Serve right away or store in an airtight container in the freezer
