Peach Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 4 cups peaches
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Baked pie shell

Method

  1. Whipped cream
  2. Place 2 cups sliced peaches in saucepan with 1/4 cup water.
  3. Simmer to start juice in fruit.
  4. Add cornstarch and sugar mixed together.
  5. Cook about 5 minutes or until thick and clear.
  6. Add lemon juice and cool.
  7. Slice or quarter remaining 2 cups peaches and place in baked pie shell.
  8. Cover at once with glaze mixture.
  9. Cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with slivered blanched almonds.
